Matt married his girlfriend of four years, Angela Stacy, June 14th at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif.
“It was the happiest day of my life,” Matt tells Life & Style. “Everything went perfectly. It was amazing to do this in
front of our closest friends and family.”
Matt married Angela in front of 145 guests in a lavish ceremony deep in the woods of the exclusive Malibu resort.
Matt looked dashing in a tailored charcoal suit by The Button Up and Angela looked beautiful in a custom gown by
Lazaro which was flared with scalloped tulle at the bottom.
She also wore Badgley Mischka shoes and Neil Lane jewelry.
After the lavish ceremony planned by Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events, guests adjourned to a nearby
tent decorated with thousands of flowers by Butterfly Floral & Events Design, and dined on steak and salmon.
The happy couple then cut the cake, a huge red velvet and cream cheese frosting creation from Cake Studio LA.
In his nuptials, Matt included actors dressed up as Storm Troopers that greeted guests at the reception.
A source said that the couple even walked into the party to the “Star Wars” theme music.
The groomsmen included a few other famous faces, including E! correspondent Jason Kennedy and singer-songwriter
Matt proposed to Angela last summer with a stunning 4.2-carat diamond band. They had been dating since 2009.

Good news for Matt Lanter fans: While 90210 may be saying farewell this week, Matt won’t be leaving our TV screens (or The CW) anytime soon! His new series Star-Crossed — formerly titled Oxygen — was officially picked up to series May 9, and he recently gave HollywoodLife.com the scoop on what the sci-fi thriller is all about.
“It’s kind of like Brown Vs. The Board of Education, with aliens, mixed with an epic romance,” Matt explained, fully aware of how strange his explanation sounded. “You’re going to have all these human rights issues we dealt with as a society 50-something years ago, but you’re dealing with it between humans and aliens.”
Star-Crossed will take place in the future, where aliens live in their own segregated community, and Matt happens to play one of those aliens. Things get complicated — to say the least — when his character, Roman, falls in love in with human-girl Emery (Aimee Teegarden).
“The pilot is all about a government program to desegregate the two species, and it starts in an American high school,” Matt continued. “On top of all that, you have this forbidden romance [between Roman and Emery.] It’s kind of like a Romeo & Juliet story. It’s the star-crossed lovers that can’t be, and shouldn’t be, but have to be.”
Wow! a huge congrats to Matt who was offered (and accepted) the role on a new CW pilot called “Oxygen”
Matt will play Roman, one of nine aliens (Orion 9) who are secretly integrated into a suburban high school,
who falls in love with Emery after he befriends her while escaping authorities 10 years prior.
Emery will be played by ‘Friday Night Lights’ actress Aimee Teegarden
I’ve seen some comments from fans saying it sounds like a show that used to air called Rosewell.
I never watched Rosewell so I’m not sure if it sounds the same or not.
Let me know what you think of Matt’s new role by commenting on this post!

In case you have been living under a rock this week or just haven’t had time to log onto the computer I have some
very sad news. The CW has announced that it does not plan on bringing 90210 back for a 6th season. This news came within the last few days of filming the seasons finale for season 5 which will now also be the series finale. I am heart broken
but we just have to think we were lucky enough to have 90210 for 5 fantastic seasons.
The cast and crew held their finale party last night.
Click on the photos below to view more photos from the party.
Thank you 90210 for 5 fantastic seasons.
All the fans appreciate all the hard work you have all put into making a fantastic show.
Matt wants you to wear purple on September 21st for Alzheimer’s action day.
“My Grandmother suffers from Alzheimer’s, so it’s very close to me and I see not only the effects of the disease on her but also how it affects the family, how the relationships change and you lose that person even while they’re sitting in front of you.” – Matt Lanter
